Who are you?
What are you?
Are you a cat or are you a dog?
Do you languidly survey your surrounds every day? Unmoving. Thinking always thinking. Pondering. Always pensive?
Or do you get up in the morning and bounce against the wall? Full of energy, wanting always wanting to go outside. For what? It doesn’t even matter!
Do you take your time to walk, talk and sulk? Is contemplating your default position? Wanting always wanting but never ever doing.
“Tomorrow. Tomorrow na lang. There there, what’s the rush? Let’s just take a nap. Hohum. Ah. A book to read, movies to watch, TV shows to follow. Ah. An endless stream of feel good fuzzy warm activities. Lick, let me just lick my lovely fur coat. Stretch, let’s just stretch and survey my domain.”
Sexy. Staying still is sexy. Aloof and detached. Bored. Jaded. Your life is full of ennui.
“Let’s go let’s go.”
Are you a restless optimist? A free spirit? Always jumping out of your skin? “I gotta do something,” you bark. “The sun is out, let’s all play.”
Chase the frisbee always so frisky. Do you run around chasing your tail? Not caring if you look stupid. Just enjoying utter freedom. The fresh air, the warm sun, jumping up and down, around and around the backyard. Bite on the leash, trash and wriggle free!
“Let me go let me go. I have rainbows to chase. Cars to run under. Cats to tease. Birds to play with. Faster faster, leap higher, bounce farther!”
To nap or to run?
To sulk or to be foot loose?
Are you happy to simply be?
Or are you a restless optimist?
Strike a balance. There’s nothing that says you cannot strike a balance and be both a cat and a dog. A cog!
But “be more dog“, I say!
Carpe diem means “grab the frisbee” – O2, http://bemoredog.o2.co.uk
~Inspired by an article about the “Be more dog” ad campaign of Telefonica UK, or was it Vodafone UK? Oh it’s by O2, a Telefonica company. It took me 24 hours later to realise that I have something in me to write about it! Here, watch these videos and be blown away with amazement!
A seriously brilliant marketing, if you ask me!
